WD30EZRX formatting under linux


I have just brought an new WD30EZRX and now want to format and install linux in it , it is an hard-disk that is been brought by the westin company, moreover as I am new to this , can someone please give me an step by step guide to do this , I also have been trying to fix this up with the help of an Suse linux and this is the kernel version is 2.6.31 any help is appreciated .

I just don ‘t think that this is really been supported by this , I have been trying this really hard and have been facing the same problem so I think that the hard0disk does not claims to be working with this , it just supports the Windows and Mac OS .
