Included modifying a config record (grub.conf) in the /boot/grub registry. Had to update the default alternative from 0 to 4, as XP was the 5th in the post. Hardest thing was working out how to alter the record, as it was ensured. Devised a workable plan to work out that I would have been wise to be a "root". Sport.
A debt of gratitude is in order regarding not making me too rapidly and spared me the time to work it out for myself
