How with Gnome2 vs Gnome3?

Hello, I surprise if Linux Mint going to stay Gnome 2, or if you pursue Ubuntus OS communication to Gnome 3 and Unity? I have used Ubuntu in numerous years and suppose it amazing, but I don't have time to study me Gnome 3. I have attempt Gnome-fallback on my Netbooks, except there are so a lot of basic modify, and I don't have time to study for instance how you add fixation to the make launchers on the Screen.

Apple iPad & Linux, will it work?

I am little confused for buying apple phone. iPhone consider that Mac OS and I want to love to like to see linux operating system. What I want to do for that…because  I am looking for buying iPad or iPhone from Apple store…

I actually instated Katya, haven't instituted anything. I am getting the slip
E:Malformed line 1 in origin catalogue /etc/apt/sources.list.d/local-repository.list (dist parse)in the updater. Lack the capacity to get anything else to work either. Anybody have any thoughts?

WD30EZRX formatting under linux

I have just brought an new WD30EZRX and now want to format and install linux in it , it is an hard-disk that is been brought by the westin company, moreover as I am new to this , can someone please give me an step by step guide to do this , I also have been trying to fix this up with the help of an Suse linux and this is the kernel version is 2.6.31 any help is appreciated .
