Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?

i have recently joined an office . which  according to me has banned the Gmail chat feature , but i am not sure if this has actually blocked this chat feature so can some one please tellm e if this feature has been really been blocked other than this , i also need to know this is error or it is been blocked by my administrator , so please help me out . thanks for all the replies .
